Taichi Yamada is an ordinary young man—or at least he was, until fate brought him face to face with his beloved idol, Kokoro Shiina, a popular gravure model. Their meeting is nothing short of miraculous, as Kokoro quite literally falls from the sky right before his eyes. When Taichi wakes up in the hospital after the accident, he begins to see Kokoro’s wandering spirit. As he tries to understand what’s happening, a “shinigami” suddenly appears, ready to guide Kokoro to the afterlife. Refusing to let the girl he adores disappear forever, Taichi must now find a way to save his beloved idol’s soul from the grasp of death itself.
