In the floating Academy City of Rikka, also known as “Asterisk,” students gather to compete in the Star Wars Festival—the world’s largest stage for integrated battle entertainment. Young talents from six academies, known as the Starpulse Generation, wield powerful Shining Armaments as they fight to prove their strength and achieve their ambitions. Amagiri Ayato arrives in Rikka at the invitation of Seidoukan Academy’s student council president, Claudia. Shortly after his arrival, he crosses paths with Julis, the powerful “Petalblaze Witch,” and unintentionally provokes her anger—leading to an unexpected duel between the two.
